Yota: unique product and charging models

Yota is the largest mobile virtual network operator in Eastern Europe.

In Yota I worked as a product director. We invented and launched a new model of selling unlimited internet through apps (application based charging), and after we implemented that model, I suggested new pricing models that were unique on the Russian and global markets: the minutes and gigabytes constructor, where a client can put collect his own tariff and constructor allows clinets to choose any amount of resources per minute or per gigabyte. Later on, other players of the telecom market also began to implement these models.

These projects drove the market and supported the brand foundation of the company, which was positioning itself as a flexible and honest operator.
